I think Layla is 10 weeks today, even though her little "ticker" thing says otherwise. It goes by the 20th day of each month to count...

Diet report:

DANG. Looks like the diet is workin (YAY!). Layla is a much happier baby these days. She sleeps more during the day, sleeps peacefully mostly, and eats more/eats happily. This means that I will be on a no dairy, no wheat diet through the holidays. However, with a happy baby at 3 a.m., I can survive... (-:

Lauren Swanstrom and I took Layla to HB today to see all my friends...I miss them a lot! It was great to have Lauren there--frankly, I wouldn't have gone without her. She sat in back on Layla duty while I drove, stress free. SO helpful. She took lots of video and pictures, so here are a few samples. Enjoy!

Yay for Auntie Renee spending some time over here today! I got TEN whole thank you notes written. Amazing. We've come to the conclusion that Layla may be a baby with Collic (sp?). I think that's a medical term for "fussy for no reason for 4 months or so." We'll need MORE visits from Auntie Ren if this is true... (-:

Layla wins. Sigh. She sleeps and is happy when SHE wants to, darn it! 3 hours of crabby child and this is the 10 minutes of sleep she decided she needed.

Correction: Layla went from about 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. with one hour of sleep and a few ounces of milk. Not sure how she's done since 5:00 due to the fact that I'm in the bedroom trying to love my daughter still while Daddy takes care of her out in the living room.

What is WITH babies and not talking???????? Is it gas? Collic? (sp?) Acid reflux? Allergies? BAD Attitude? Ugh.
