Last night and this morning:

Last night:

Ulrich spent the night here last night and flew out for VT again this morning.  Finn was especially enamored with Opa and walked around saying "Opa, Opa, Opa, Opa, Opa..." over and over and over.  :)  It was very sweet.  It seems in taking pictures of the three of them I can only get one person to smile or focus at a time...

After work last night Jonas went up to Elk River (45 min drive from our home, but closer to his work for sure) and picked up a great playset I fount on Craigslist.  It was $300 for a fort, 3 swings, two slides, a climbing wall, etc.  It's not in the "best" of all condition, BUT for a $2,000+ set who cares??  It'll last us as long as we're in this house, I'm sure!  I love a find like that.  :)  Our yard right now is really just a big square of green, so we needed something for them to actually DO out there.  Yessssssssssssssss.  Mission accomplished.  When it's set up in the Spring I'll post pictures.

This morning:

Layla woke up at a VERY annoyingly early hour this morning, but Finn slept until 7:30.  One out of two?  I'll take it, I guess.  

This is Layla carrying her bag of "stuff" that has to go with her everywhere.  It's getting slightly out of hand now!  She woke up in the middle of the night last night and wanted to know where her bag was.  Oh my.  I'm starting to have a few OCD worries for her... ;)  

She loves to pose for silly pictures now and then run around to see how they look on camera.

Painting lesson #1:

I've never really done water colors with the kids before (for what I think are obvious reason...), so today we broke them out as a fun Saturday morning activity.  :)

Jonas is off to Bemidji for Dennis and Theresa's 40th Anniversary celebration, and I'm gonna enjoy my time with these two cute little party-makers. ;)

Layla is almost always naked, half naked, or in the process of getting naked these days.  She HATES when any drop of water gets on her clothes, so we usually go through about 4 outfits a day.  This was an in-between moment...

She then requested a pony tail for her hair...(gasp!!!)...

And said that puppy needed one in his hair too.

I'm feeling much better now, so finally in tune to the blog and pictures again...

The other day Layla and Finn were playing in the toy room, on their new kids table I purchased from a girl on Facebook.  Layla had all her little people lined up around the baby.  "Look, Mama!  They all looking at da baby!"  :)

Awwwwwww!  What loving fisher price people.  :)

Great table and chairs, huh?  I love 'em.  

Sigh...

I'm getting sick.

I can FEEL it coming on.

It started yesterday afternoon, and continued through the night...yep, I'm getting sick.

I usually get sick once each Winter, which has already happened...but I guess since this is the first day of Spring I get to be part of a fun Universe practical joke.  ;)

Oh, the joys of watching kids while being sick...and poor little Finn is getting sick too.

Fine.  Bring it.  I'm ready to curl into my little ball and wait for it to pass.  ;)
