Layla, Finn, Cora and Kellan Schaefer's blog, for all the family members far and near who miss and love them...and who don't mind such a shamelessly Schaefer children-centered space.

More words...
1st = "All done" (very clear, although it sometimes can sound like "aaaall don")
2nd = "Tickle tickle" (Ticka ticka ticka, or tocka tocka tocka)
3rd = "Again" (Gain)
4th + 5th = "Hi!!!" and "Hey!!!!" (She uses them correctly, and it's very funny!)
Not a HINT of regularly using Mama or Papa for actually identifying us. She clearly knows who Papa and Mama ARE, but has no need to call us, I guess. :)

Baby Boy, 25 Week Update
Well, I went to the Dr. yesterday. I would post pictures, but our scanner is still down. Maybe I can get Jonas to scan them at work and send them to me...we got some of the 3D ones that are somewhat creepy, but still cool/less creepy than with Layla. :)
I feel like in the last 2 weeks I have become HUGE! I am sleepy allll the time, but I blame Layla for that...it just compounds pregnancy symptoms. I am also short of breath very often, which was slightly concerning to me because I didn't have that with Layla until very late in her pregnancy. Again, this might be a combo package: Layla, living on the 3rd floor, winter/cold weather impacting my lungs, bringing my insanely heavy diaper bag everywhere (SERIOUSLY! I need to get a backpack one before #2 comes for SURE....it's crazy.), etc.
I wonder how much longer my "Medium" shirts will look normal on me. Why do I have so much more back fat this pregnancy????? Aaaaaaaaah! SO not cute. :)
Well, baby boy is fine, but he has found my ribs. Sinker. I even asked at the ultrasound yesterday: "Um, are his feet right up under my right ribs? (the ones Layla attacked for months)" Lab technician: "YEP! Yes, they are!" Yeah, not a shocker to me. I'm only 25 weeks and already my ribs hurt! I can't even begin to think about the next 14 weeks...
We ALSO found out that baby boy is weighing at least a half a pound more than they would expect at this point. This freaks me out to no end. :) They said it could even out in the end, but I can't handle a large baby when it comes to labor and delivery! I've only gained a little over 5+ lbs at this point, so I know there is really nothing I can do about it...but still! SLOW DOWN, little boy. Eeeeeeasy does it. (He's also measuring 1.5 weeks ahead of schedule, but that doesn't mean so much at this point in time...the weight, on the other hand...)
I passed my glucose test with flying colors, again, and got points from the nurses for chugging that stuff in about a minute. Yessssss. :) Anything to "win" something! :)
I think that's it...right? Oh, my vitamin D levels were STILL too low, even after taking 2,000 units a day, so now I'm getting put on some "prescription" vitamin D that I only take once a week for 8 weeks. Once a week I can live with! :)
The End
