The whole family taking joy in blowing out some Advent candles with Kellan:

| Kellan and I hung out in Aunt Renee's room while the other kids did therapy with Henry. Kellan loved playing around with the mouse and keyboard, thanks to Uncle Dan...haha. |
| Have to document the closeness when it happens like this! Watching the Friday night movie together in warmth. |
| Helping Kellan extend a short nap the other day. |
On December 6th we celebrated St. Nicholas Day, and in our house St. Nicholas only brings games. Family together fun gets a bit of a boost every December. Fun, fun!
| Finn for SURE wanted this game on his Christmas list. |
| Kellan's game. |
| Playing my game...I think I got the best one, frankly! Thanks, Santa! ;) |
| Playing with Cora's game, "Don't break the ice." |
| Getting a game of "Life" in the day after St. Nicholas day. |
| It's ADVENT still, not Christmas, but we full on decorated on Saturday. Whoops. Haha. This was when just the tree and advent stuff were up... |
| 2 years apart. Right around the time Kellan was born, and last week. |
This past Thursday night the kids went to "Cinderella" at the Children's Theatre with Jonas. This is a big cast, full production, and it's a great time for both kids AND adults (I know because I went 2 or 3 years ago).
| They got free seat upgrades to the very center of the VIP section. Niiiiice! |
| So classic. On so many levels. Notice how Cora dresses like it is July in December??? |
The dance party after the show:
| Family movie night. |
Cora's preschool Christmas program was this past Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Oooof. Not the preferred time for a program, in my book. It was all the things you would expect...EXCEPT...oh, folks. I almost died laughing. Check out the special musical number at the end!!! :)
Cora's speaking part. She was so proud.
| This is the arm swing that goes with "We WISH you a Merry Christmas!" |
As soon as the music started you could see all the parents getting out their cameras...and this was not their child, haha...
There was a Christmas cookie reception after the program. Kellan had a meltdown over the cookie with blue frosting. Not sure exactly why.
| TOTAL meltdown. Parents of #4kids take pictures first, before distracting them out of their moods...haha. |
| Just a regular dinner the other night. |
Sunday afternoon Jonas took the kids climbing again at VE. With just a little bit of time left they came and picked up Kellan and me so we could observe them in person. It was fun to see, but BOY is this NOT a place for an 18-month-old. Yowza. He lost his marbles and melted down...something that is more frequent these days. SO fun! #lastchild
| Cora loving life, again. |
| This was on the second floor...bouldering. No ropes or harnesses because you're mostly going side to side, not up a ton... |
| Kellan and breakfast the other morning. |
Kellan requested some trains before Finn went off to art class today.
