MN Zoo as a family:

Today was HOT and HUMID...so what did we do? We went outside to the Zoo! The MN Zoo has a fun splashpad of sorts outside, and a fun playground, so we really went more for that today. We also did stop by the fish, bears, and otters quickly, but today was about WATER. As you can tell from the pictures, Layla was "thrilled." ;)

Hi guys! Sorry no pics in a while... It's been hectic! :) There was a super cute "picture moment" today when Henry was playing with Finn's toes and they both seemed to be "noticing" each other for the first time, but...alas...Jonas took the camera today to get the handle re-attached, so it did no go recorded. Sigh. (But I am glad the camera is fixed!)

You will just have to imagine it. Think hard. :)

We went to eat at Nate and Lauren (Swanstrom) Mitchell's house tonight...so fun! Layla had a blast playing with Lauren's trolls from 3rd grade (remember THOSE toys?? What creepy dolls...) and playing with their rock collecting. Frankly, the rocks were her favorite by far. Such a "nature" child. :)

I tried to interrupt tea time with Mr. Bear for her photo shoot. No such luck. She carried on while I took the pictures. :)

Most of these pictures are taken with me holding Layla back with my LEFT hand and clicking the camera with my RIGHT hand. The girl wanted to be in all the shots! :) I also missed about 20 pictures of him smiling by about 1 second each and instead got 20 shots of him looking dazed and confused...

It was so hot and humid that it messed with my camera! Lots of my pictures have this "hazy" look...and it's not just too much light. Sheesh. So, I messed with the exposure on this one. :)
