The big event!

I am very thankful for my camera, and for the fact that is has a "night" setting that allows me to take pictures in relative darkness...but this is clearly an instance where a DSLR is just the only way to go.  So, forgive the very blurry, fuzzy pictures...but it was dark, and these kids were moving and having way too much fun to stand still for a picture!  :)

This was one of those days when Finn had a reeeeeeeeeeally bad wake-up from his nap.  He was happy to run around when we got out at the park, but he completely lost it again when I wanted him to SIT.DOWN. rather than run around.  He has such a hard life, you know...

Poor Layla loves her antenna headband, but it's too big for her, so she has to hold it when she runs.  I'm gonna see if Grandma can fix it today, because Grandma is fix-it magic, or we just might have to ditch it for tonight.  :)
