I think Layla is done napping. I wish it wasn't so, but I am afraid it is true. She may go back to napping eventually, so I hear from friends, but for now...she is done. I guess making it to age 3 isn't a bad run, really...right? Anyway, we've instituted "rest time" for Layla, and so far she has done brilliantly with it! I put a pillow in the crib for her to lean against, a blanket over her legs, and then I surround her with her books, babies, puppy, backpack, and animals. It is totally silent in her room for well over an hour. AMAZING. :)
