Sunday afternoon (trip to Edgcumbe Park)

I've been promising the kids we could go to "the park with the tall slides" for a while, so after Kellan's nap today seemed like a good time to make good.  It was such lovely weather again.  I keep saying that I know, but it's true.  And it's ENDING next week...3 days of 60s, then 7 days in a row in the 40s!  Gah!  We are DRINKING in every last moment of sunlight! And the leaves falling in the great breeze and yellow setting sun were so delightful today.  A memory to keep our souls from dying during the long hard winter ahead, haha.

Jonas was working on his chainsaw/splitting some wood today, so Kellan joined in with his own tools.  He calls the cape he is wearing his "flag," and I love it so much.  "Mom, can I get a flag mom??"

Sunday night popcorn as dinner tonight...

Afton State Park on Saturday

It was perfect weather here yesterday, so along with everyone else, we went to a local state park, haha.  Afton was delightful.  *insert praise and adoration of fall here*

As you can maybe guess from this photo, Finn REALLY does not like getting his pants wet. 😂😂
