It's that odd fall weather around here...morning may be really cold and you go outside wearing a hat and gloves and warm winter coat. Then by the afternoon it's really hot and you want the AC on and are wearing flip flops and shorts! Ah, neurotic MN, we love you so.
Jonas made this picture my phone wallpaper, because I hadn't changed it from the original phone settings...I just don't care, haha. So now he has made sure that I am appropriately loving the season! 😀
This was last Thursday in Horsman's backyard for therapy. It was a stunning fall day, and the sun through the yellow trees in their backyard made me so happy, but of course pictures rarely do that kind of thing justice.
Friday afternoon we went to a local lake to have a (maybe last) grilling picnic of the season. Finn wanted to clarify that this was NOT a picnic, because picnics are eaten only on the ground, it was a barbecue. And Finn still wants us to have a PICNIC before the snow falls. Of course, we drove there at 4:00 p.m., so poor Kellan fell asleep and got a cute 30 min nap on the ground. The kids could NOT stay away. Nothing cuter than a sleeping child.
