A few more days:

Their new favorite: 1 body, 2 heads.
This past Thursday EVERYONE was extra tired in this house.  See below.
Finn reading to Kellan

Kellan can't keep his heavy head upright. I put him to bed for a nap 10 min later.

I came down from putting Kellan to bed to find that Cora had fallen asleep on the couch.

Layla had a bad night of sleep on Wednesday night so I made her go to bed again at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, hoping that she would get an hour or two nap.  She left until TWO in the afternoon!  I woke her up when it became clear she might miss her NEXT evening bedtime.  :)

This is Kellan, fighting sleep with a favorite tool: books.

Kellan does not like most fruit other than the occasional banana.  But I got him to eat watermelon the other day!  Excited!

I think we all know what happened here.  Kellan trying to get into his favorite place.

Playing in Grandma's fountain.  It's perfect Kellan height.

Playing in the sprinkler at Aunt Renee's house.  This baby loves water.

Jonas took the kids to the MN History Center this morning:

Then I took the older 3 to the MN Science Museum after dinner to see an Apollo 11 Omnitheatre film, and check out the museum for a while:

When I was done putting Kellan to bed tonight I came downstairs and everyone was gone.  Turns out they walked up to our lake to see the Lantern Festival.  SO pretty.

The past few days:

The last car ride to VBS on Friday:

Cora ended up deciding she didn't want to stay at VBS on Friday, so she came home and we had "Mama and Cora" time.  We played bird bingo and the flower cards go fish game.  She loved it.

Finn has been practicing his ukulele daily, in addition to his piano.

"Sorry" has been the game of choice for the last few days.  The kids love it when Jonas gets highly into the game.

Cora, dressed in winter clothes and a FedEx Santa hat.

Layla reading the cards...a big deal around here.

On Saturday Jonas took Finn and Layla with Rachel Gustafson and her girls, and another friend, to Taylor's Falls...the Wisconsin side.

Layla learning some classic clapping girl games in the car.

The kids went swimming in THEIR CLOTHES...big fun.  :)

They visited Dan Sheild's farm on the way home...Finn was loving being shirtless, a trend I anticipate more of this summer.

One of their yurts they rent out.

Today we attended church where the kids did their most recent (2nd out of 3 total this summer) VBS. Let's just say never in a million years would I go to church here myself...hahaha...but they run a fancy VBS, and the kids love it, so I guess we'll participate in that every summer.
You can see Cora in the middle here as the kids dance along to their VBS main song.

After the service they had inflatable bouncy castles and a petting zoo, in addition to a picnic lunch.  The kids loved THIS thing in particular.

And Kellan loved having these balloons attached to him.

Trigger warning:  baby falls over in the end.  Haha! :)
(Grandma, watch at the peril of your own heart!)
