January 10th, post-Christmas

 Most of the photos here are from our visit to the Schaefer clan in D.C., but there are some from Layla's phone and Berube family fondu as well!

Poor Jonas got Covid right before we left for DC, so we sadly left him at home to isolate while I took the kids out to Virginia on my own.  We all had a great time, and poor sick Jonas painted the main floor while we were gone. 

We went swimming with most of the cousins one day, and none of us from MN brought swimsuits, so we had to borrow from the DC cousins.  This mostly worked great, except for Layla.  She ended up borrowing a swimsuit from Aunt Patricia.  😆

Layla was experimenting with overnight, heatless curling methods...
