A friend trip to the farm in WI:

Hanging out in the tree out front before going...

Finn calls it his "home away from home." Now all the kids have picked different trees to be their "homes away from home."

Kellan would regularly like to hang out in Papa's car, please...
Kellan got a bump and "told the story" for days...

Kellan loves to go in the basement now and PUSH HIMSELF, thankyouverymuch, on the little cars and trikes down there.  Excuse the messy basement, but I also kind of love that it is not finished...zero stress, and lots of room to ride and rollerblade in the winter!

So, yesterday I took all the kids on an overnight with the Horsmans, the Gustafsons, and the Davis family.  We went to a place in Osceola, WI, not even an hour away.  It was a CSA farm that also had a super old farm house on the land (sleeps 25), and they rent it out via Airbnb.  The kids were in HEAVEN, and I had so much help watching Kellan that I had a pretty awesome time too!

This massive dog is named Elmo.  It roamed freely outside and the kids loved having him around...OUTSIDE, haha.

Cora and Linden picked so many beautiful flowers.

Eating a crab apple

Elena and Anja leading camp songs and cheers

I took the kids on a walk this morning to see the donkey, cows, chickens, and goats

Turns out...uh...it was, in fact, electric. whoops.
Mom fail.
City girl!

The we drove 8 minutes into "downtown" Osceola to visit this waterfall.  I can not convey to you how much fun the kids had, but most especially Finn.  He was on a LIFE HIGH.

Kellan was mad that Elena was making him pose for me.

It was basically all zero depth.  So fun.

Abby leading Finn and Layla out of the waterfall.

This may be the cutest thing I have ever witnessed.
Kellan fell asleep on Jon's shoulder to the white noise of the water fall.  Jon just stood there with him, in the freeeeezing creek, for about 15 minutes to not break the spell.

I mean...come ON.  It was so cuuuuute.

See the waterfall down there, at the bottom of a bunch of stairs?  I wore Kellan while climbing back up.  Mercy.  That was...not awesome.

See Finn's green shirt behind the water?  He spent a LOT of time back there.

There were so many fun animals the kids caught and saw on the farm...including a million snakes.
