Almost the end of August! (*sob*)

We are done with the room switches now.  Here is Layla's room:

And here is Kellan and Cora's room:

The patio is such a wonderful place to hang out these days, with plants overcrowding us on every side...

This is the sight I miss the most when summer ends:  the neighborhood kids in our backyard

Kellan and I stopped at Wabun park and splash pad on our way home from dropping the middle two kids off at school. (Surprise!  All three older kids are going to school this next school year, haha.  But you probably knew this already...  They will be going to CVA, which is a hybrid school, in the public school system, that's been around for 25 years.  They do in person school three days a week, and online school two days a week, which is a nice halfway point for formerly homeschooled kids.  The building they now own is so old and cute...I love it. Stay tuned for school updates! *but I am going to miss our almost-stress-free homeschool lifestyle so much, sniff*))

This boy loves his Pokemon bedding.

Thursdays are adventure days for us, when I watch my cousin's kids.  This day we went to Central Park in Maple Grove, and Schapner Park in Golden Valley.

Mid-August happenings:

Jonas and I went on a date to Punch Pizza and Grand Ol' Creamery.  That arugula prosciutto pizza can NOT be beat, in my humble opinion...

We have been doing some room switches and remodeling (a tiny amount) upstairs.  Layla now has Kellan's old room all to herself, and Kellan and Cora now share the girl's old room.  The girls room was in rough shape, though.  Needed a total overhaul.  So that's what we did!  Painting all the stuff.

Jonas got me in full "hallelujah" mode as we rocked out to 90s power ballads.

Noah Caron came over for a while yesterday and the girls + Vivian played legos together.

I went to a suuuuuper fun concert at the Horsman's on Thursday night.  Renee had one local artist(Waltzing on Waves), one up-and-coming YouTube artist (Spencer LaJoye), and one very famous artist (Audrey Assad) play in her backyard for an exclusive and curated crowd.  It was SO delightful.

Lauren and Rachel Sheild were looking FANTASTIC.
Mom was making mixology drinks...
Fancy EVERYTHING, but also designed cookies with the lyrics from all 3 artists

I got to hang out with the cool kids in the back row.

I took all the kids plus two of their friends to Highland Pool for some Thursday pool fun.

Vaccine #2 for Kellan at the MOA! Huzzah!

Anytime I take Kellan to a park he always ends up playing restaurant and serving other kids pretend food at any counter he can find.
