Halloween 2014

Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!  As soon as he gets socks and shoes on!

Layla as Jessie, saying "YeeHaw!"

Cora as Rex the dinosaur.

I got Henry's Woody costume for $5 on a buy/sell/swap group on FB.
The lady said it was for ages 2-4.
Pretty sure it's for ages 18-24 months, max.
Ha!

Woody capris.

Okay, Cora's knit hat looks a little stupid.  It's cute from the side.  ;)

Finn is saying "To infinity and beyond!!"

Henry kept trying to grab Layla's hand because he knows Woody and Jessie square dance at one point...

Renee suggested Finn hug Henry...so Finn got ready 15 seconds ahead of time...

...Henry was walking away, but Finn was not put off...

...things got high-pitched and loud.  ;)

Poor rejected Buzz.

It is going to be TWENTY FOUR degrees tonight, when we are out trick or treating, so my kids are going to be bundled head to toe in winter gear.  Indoor pictures were our only option it seems, this year!

Poor teething baby. :(

If I had full sized carrots on hand she would have been gnawing on one of those, but as all I had was a 10 lb bag of baby carrots, celery it was!  This would technically be her first "real" food too, if she actually swallowed any of it--but I don't think she did.  Just tasted and put some cold pressure on those sore gums.  :)  My miserable, sweet girl...sleeping was rough for her today.  (IS rough for her today--she should have been down an hour ago...)

Cooking with Mama today:

She loves this job and takes it very seriously.

She was watching videos of herself at the program today while she spooned...

See that evil idea forming in Layla's mind??

And...gross!!  Haha!

Our Saturday walk:

Jonas was in Nashville eating BBQ at the time, so the kids and I went for an extra long walk and ate BBQ chips (most BBQ chips are dairy free:  just a fun little allergen-life fact for you.)  It was ALMOST like eating the Nashville BBQ, I'm sure... ;)

Layla's preschool harvest program:

It was just as cute this year as it was last year (good thing too, because it was pretty much the same program again...haha)!

This year my mom, Finn, AND a sleepy Cora came along for the ride.  Cora did great the entire time in the Ergo, but if my videos are shaky it's because I was also trying to sway while filming to keep her quiet.  Sorry, I realize those two don't mix well.

I was just testing my light settings, etc. here, but Finn thought I was serious and held his "cheese" pose for about 60 seconds...

Layla's class, the Honey Bees, were standing in between the Indian Corn and the Fall Leaves.  ;)

This was as close as I could get without being "that annoying parent."

This is Layla's BFF this year:  Kaitlyn

Honey Bee, represent!!

Finn, about to get cut out of future photo opportunities...

Layla walking in:

The entire program below in videos, mostly just for Papa...but watch if you like preschool songs for sure! ;)

And then a few photos at home...because, why not??

In case you were wondering what this was...she loved the tiny bee...
