M-F this week the younger two and I killed some time at this lovely park outside of the Rec center. Even though it's July, and high-heat time, this hates-heat Mama was perfectly fine because 85% of the park is shaded with lovely old trees. I love old trees so much! :) Pictured below is what we did every day...except most days included more of Cora crying, because even though there was a cool park there to play with, all she wanted was the water bottle on the ground, or to stomp in the gross puddle that had gum and garbage in it....and on, and on. What a STINKER she has been this month! Teeth are killing her slowly, it would seem. But I still do love her...mostly. ;)

| Finn was a little timid on this thing at the start of the week, but by the end he had mastered climbing up one side, turning around at the top, and them climbing down the other. That top turn was scary for him. |

Sigh. Keeping her from killing herself is all I do these days.
She can climb pretty much ANYTHING Finn can climb.
No joke.

| I was so proud of Finn for this. These leaves are HIGH up, off the ground, and on Monday he started doing them and then called me crying to come help him across. Thursday he learned to do them with a little friend, and today he showed me his bravery. Big Guy. :) |

| She does love to swing! And I loved that THIS swing was big enough for me to hold her and swing, and not feel like it was going to collapse. This park is pretty sweet, I tell you. It's a hidden gem! ;) |
