*Finn Update:

At his 24-hour check-up today Finn's temperature was 100.6, which is much better than the 103.6 from yesterday.  He slept much better last night--less coughing for sure--but still was very fitful and needed me by him often.  He's still not eating or drinking anything (other than nursing a few times a day), and besides the high fevers, that has been my main concern.  However, he didn't lose any weight from yesterday to today, so the doctors aren't too worried about that.  They decided he wasn't improving fast enough, so he got two more shots of the broad spectrum antibiotic, and then we'll start an oral one tomorrow that will last 10 days. Then we need to go back to the doctor sometime early next week to make sure he really is progressing and healing well.  Pneumonia in a young kid is no joke, guys.  It's pretty serious stuff, I guess.  :(  Poor baby.

The whole time we were there he just cried.  He totally remembered yesterday, and every time a doctor or nurse walked in he just bawled.  At least we didn't have to do X-rays again!

*Note to self:  set aside $5,000 for pre-tax medical expenses next year.  YOWZA!  Kids and their medical needs = $$$$$$   Wheeeeeeeee!  Being parents!  :)

Also, turns out he has TWO ear infections and is majorly teething.  Just because the poor little guy didn't have enough pain going on from the waist up...
