A week in review:

My kids love going to the dentist.  Like...an odd amount.  Haha.

If you can't tell she is watching "Sing" on a flat screen TV above her head.  So FANCY.

Getting Kellan started young on following his his big brother's hat-wearing footsteps...

Finn in one of his happy places, helping me make Sloppy Joes or taco meat:

Kellan's eyes...haha.  "MOM.  HELP."

Last Saturday I took the older 3 to a friend's birthday party at a lake while Jonas stayed home with Kellan.

My friend KaZoua here makes the best food.  She did an egg roll fundraiser for a friend for their World Vision triathalon.  We bought 2 dozen egg rolls, and basically ate them all in 2 days (they were on the smaller side...but still.  Jonas at 11 in one sitting, haha!).  So, I called her up and bought 2 dozen more because she said they freeze and reheat well in the oven! YES.  Take my money.  At this birthday party she made these amazing potato dumplings (harvested fresh from her own backyard, of course) with mushrooms and tomatoes.  Delish.

Jonas and his Mini-Me doing a little photo shoot:

Finn made a house for Cora out of cardboard boxes.  Notice her light in the bottom right hand corner...

He is right to have suspicious eyes here...
Finn and Cora helped me make cookies the other day.  In fact, they did it 100% on their own, other than me doing a bit of the mixing at the end, and oven transfers.

There was sugar and flour EVERY.WHERE . on the counter.

A few more random photos from family vacation up north:

I like how you can see by the shape of her cheek that she is yelling and happy.  :)

Finn can't help but draw, even when the scenery is like this, on a boat...

Kellan on the ride home.

This week Layla is doing a free 3 day synchronized swimming class on M/W/F evenings.  She is loving it.  She really wants to join the club, but I'm saying no for this coming year.  It's 2x a week, which I'm not willing to do right now, and it's rather expensive.  We'll stick with dance for the fall/winter/spring, and then swimming lessons again next summer.  If she still wants to do it after that, then we'll sign her up for that coming year.  But this year is the year of baby:  Kellan and sleep and a peaceful family life trumps activities, especially for a kid just in 3rd grade.
