Dreams

I know Layla has been having dreams at night for some time, and she has been having "bad dreams" that wake her up for probably 6-12 months now.  They aren't frequent, but they do happen.  Often she is still half-asleep when she wakes up and so I have to figure out, by process of elimination, that she had a bad dream.

Last night she woke up and I heard her crying on the monitor.  I went in to check on her.

Me:  Layla, what's wrong?
Layla:  (eyes closed)  Mama!  It's broken!
Me:  What's broken, honey?
Layla:  The telescope!
Me:  What??
Layla:  Mama, Charkie broke George's telescope!
Me:  Oh, I'm so sorry honey.
Layla:  Zzzzzzzzzz...

Haha!  She had a Curious George dream, and the "bad" part that made her cry was that a cartoon dog broke a cartoon telescope that belonged to a cartoon monkey!! :)
