As many of you most likely know from Facebook by now, Layla had QUITE the eventful day yesterday! She woke up at about 4:45 a.m. unable to breathe, coughing, and crying. It was clear to me after about 10 seconds of holding her that she needed to go to the hospital right away, so off she went with Jonas and I stayed behind with Finn. I've never been so glad to live so close to so many hospitals before! They took great care of her at the hospital, and she was back home by 7:30 a.m., breathing just fine and happy as a lark. When I talked to Jonas at the hospital he said she haaaaaaated when they tried to help her breathe through the face mask, but then she had found Diego on TV there so everything was right in her world again.

While at the hospital, they also find an ear infection in Layla's right ear, so her cranky/moody behavior for the days prior was somewhat explained. So lucky us, of the 4 child ears we have in this house, three of them are infected! We get to give antibiotics to TWO little kids, TWICE a day! Wheeeeeee! Plus garlic ear drops. Plus pain medication/fever reducers. So.much.FUN.
