Every night, after dinner, we light some candles and everyone goes around the table saying what we want to thank God for, then we blow out our candles. Both Finn and Layla used to be very short and to the point: friends, papa, our house, etc. Finn is still there--in fact, for about the last week he's thanked God for the same thing: "Bonzgo," the stuffed zebra Papa brought back from D.C. last time he was there. (His name is actually Gonzo, but Finn calls him Bonzgo...so cute.) However, Layla now goes ON and ON, thanking God for tons of things each time. It's just too cute, so I got it on tape this time--normally it's even longer than this, complete with dramatic pauses, friendly gestures, etc. She is adorable.
