We had a really fun Thanksgiving at the new Horsman/Berube house...we packed it out! The kids roamed freely on the main floor, and all the adults took shelter down below. Perfect.
 |
| My traditional offering for Thanksgiving: Brussels sprouts and bacon with garlic and thyme. So easy. So delicious. The kids watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the dog show while I prepped this food and Jonas watched Kellan. Pretty slow and fun start to the morning! |

I took mostly zero photos because of this young one, but I managed a few while Aunt Lauren held him. No clothes because it was SO HOT even on the lower level. Mental note to myself to not wear a sweatshirt when going over there for family parties anymore.

| Jonas put Kellan down for a nap and then plopped him on the carpet in front of the fireplace. The roar of the adult chatter was enough white noise for him. See him there, under the table? |
Layla made some looooong videos with my phone of how to basically tease a baby with a balloon. Haha. Here are a few snapshots from the videos:
Jonas got the winter tires put on the van yesterday, and while he was waiting for that to be done he walked across the street with Cora for a Daddy/Daughter date at the Maplewood mall. NOT my idea of a good time, but this little girl was in pure heaven. She loved every single second of it.
