| Airport McDonalds is SO exciting for the kids. I have no idea why. |

| Kellan and his crazy sleep that day made the flight out there miserable. but we made it!! |
On Day 1 we went to see the national Christmas tree in front of the White House, and then walked the mall for a while and saw several monuments. It was a beautiful walk for the MN folk!
I took a few of the kids to the little park behind Ben and Patricia's house. Kellan just wanted to run off down the path...
One day we went to build a fort in the woods. Kid heaven.
Some of the cousins and aunts hung out at a fun playground near Uncle Ben's work. Kellan highly enjoyed the rope bridge!
The night of Christmas day the kids enjoyed doing a puzzle with Ben and Patricia, and drawing with their new gifts from Grammy...
One day we had a VERY exciting and beautiful trip to Fort Washington in Maryland...haha!
A trip to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Very cool, very crowded! But great fun.

We opened presents together on the night of Christmas Day. The older 2 kids got amazing artist packs from Grammy, Cora got a musical instrument, and Kellan got a drill that makes REAL noise. Fun, fun, fun!!

I'm sorry they are so disorganized! Jonas is in Poland right now and I have minimal energy for things other than wiping Kellan's nose and making sure bedtime happens...haha!
TLDR: We had a GREAT time in D.C. on many adventures with family!
