Sometimes when I go out I tell the kids I'll bring them back a "special surprise." To make sure this is not always a sugar treat, I'm not spending a bit more time at the dollar section at Target. It's all mostly total crap, BUT it's only $1 per child! Here the kids are playing with the most recent special surprise: they each got 12 glow sticks for $1! Money well spent.
