Last night was the last night of summer. This morning the kids both started official school, and Cora learned what it was like to be the only child in the house, at least for 3 hours at a time, 2 days a week. ;)
Last night we had a spontaneous picnic at a park very close to where we live, but one we had never been to yet, for some odd reason. It was lovely, and such a fitting end to such a delightful summer.
We DID summer this year. Success.
