7

I can't get over how nicely my hair was behaving in this picture...it just doesn't do that any longer! Kids!
Oh, and my handsome husband.  Him too.  Can't get over him.  ;)

Sunday, November 16th, was our 7 year wedding anniversary.  Hooray for us!  We made it!  ;)

Sundays are always a hard day to celebrate, so we did it on Saturday instead.  Renee and Jon very generously took the older two kids for the day, and Jonas and I got to spend time together with just ONE child...crazy!  One child that still takes two naps a day = even time to do crazy things like watch a movie.  We seriously did--we watched a movie from BEGINNING to END, all in one sitting.  We haven't done something like that in a while.  (The movie was "The Grand Budapest Hotel," which was very quirky and fun, and right up our alley these days...we/I can't handle much intensity very often.)

We also did take-out for lunch and dinner from two places near us.  East St. Paul has become, rather recently, a foodie "it spot" of sorts!  It's awesome!  Payne Avenue in St. Paul, in particular, has at least 4 awesome spots...and all a mile or so from us.  YES.  So, we tried two new spots on Payne Avenue for our anniversary:  Cook St. Paul for lunch, and Tongue in Cheek for dinner.  Both were excellent.

When you get married in November in MN, you always risk the weather being rather "blah" for your anniversary, and this year did not fail there.  It was snowy and cold, so while I would rather have taken a nice walk around the lake together, instead we made a fire and cuddled our baby.  Not a bad day at all.  :)
