Jonas was home from surgery by 1:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon, but obeying all of the post-op instructions has been..."challenging" for him. ;) So, it was no surprise that he insisted on joining us on our trip to the zoo on Sunday afternoon, rather than resting in bed more. In his defense, the Drs DID say he should walk 50 minutes a day in recovery...but they wanted it done in 5, 10-minute segments...and this was a *tich* more than that. ;) He seems to be recovering splendidly, though, so we're glad for that! (He returned to work on Wednesday--much earlier than expected--and has taken no pain pills for days now. Rockstar.)
