Last Saturday was a pretty darn perfect day around here. It was mid-60's for weather, sunny, windy...awesome. Jonas and Finn spent a good part of the day splitting wood from the tree we cut down in the front yard. They borrowed our neighbors little wood splitter, and Finn himself did 95% of the "work"...Jonas just picked up the logs and turned them if needed. Finn was in heaven. He was loving life and felt like such a big kid. Jonas was in heaven because 1) he was with his son, 2) he was working and making his son work, which always makes him warm and fuzzy inside, and 3) his son was working on WOOD, which is how (according to Jonas, Sue!) Jonas spent 85% of his childhood. Major memory lane for him. :) They had so much fun doing this. I wish I had stopped to take pictures, but...Cora. Right? Right. :)
