We decided last night to put in an offer on the house on Hyacinth, only to be told at 11:00 p.m. that someone else had already put in an offer ahead of us today...and they would wait for us (maybe?) today to put in our "final and best" offer. So...yeah. Crap. We're, AGAIN, going to give them their full asking price...but I guess we'll see. Sigh. I hate this.
Thursday update:
We have submitted offer papers for that house with ONE HOUR to spare to their makeshift deadline. We've submitted our "best and final" offer, so hopefully they will NOT counter it with something we can't stretch more on...only to lose one more house... And hopefully they will pick our offer, not the other offer they got yesterday! Gah!
