We went down to the MN Zoo again last Saturday, 2 hours before closing. People, let me tell you: when going to the Zoo, you should ONLY go right at opening time, or 2 hours or sooner to closing. It's the best. Fewer people. Best time of day for heat and light. All good things.
We went right to the Farm, as usual, and I didn't take any pictures because...well, let's face it: I have a million of Layla feeding goats already. :) We got a root beer float at the farm house...wow was it great on a warm day like that.
On our way back from the Farm to the main buildings we stopped at the playground. This place is normally PACKED, but it was 5:30, so pretty much no one was there. The kids had a great time...and I just sat on my butt on the bench, so you can see the photos are mostly of the backs of their heads. ;)
