The new splash pad at the lake 2 blocks from us opened on Saturday, so of course we had to go check it out today. It's really nice, and so fun to have it right next to the swimming beach as well. My kids far prefer to SWIM than to play in sprinklers, but it's nice to have the option. And, even nicer for me, the splash pad seems to attract all the...active?...children. :) The kids who were normally making trouble in the water last summer. I'm a big fan of them being up there right by the life guard station, so the teacher in me doesn't have to start taking over.
The weather was perfection, the company was great...another great adventure day.
